Our Approach
Within the Jewish Tradition, there is the concept of Tikkun Olam (תיקון עולם) meaning to "repair" or "heal the world".
We find this to be a beautiful concept that resonates with our philosophy, and our approach to making society, and the world a better place. Our approach is somewhat unique or counter to the prevailing trends in society. First, we are the Silent Society™ because words, including our words, have little import. It is action, and our action, and our results that matter. Second, we are politically, ethnically, and religiously agnostic. We respect those that are politically, ethnically and religiously observant or active but our approach is one of holistic healing. Third, we reject the broad and often obtuse labels of "Left" / "Liberal" and "Right" / "Conservative" and prefer to look at actions through Entropy (Low vs High), and Order (Ordered vs Chaotic) without static judgements. We engage in observations and measurements not static judgements. As such we call our philosophy and approach "Constructivism". Thus, rather than complain or critique by words, we are focused on Creation, Construction, Cultivation, Commercialization, and Curation (Our 5 C's). Our "commentary" occurs not through words but our actions -- both through the action which we engage in, create or curate, and that which we ignore. But in all cases, we are focused on healthy, inclusive, eugenic actions for our society, and world. Fourth, we frequently counter signal. Thus, we are the Silent Society not the "Secret Society" nor the "Secure Society". We are quiet in our approach and let our actions speak for us. We are not "Secret" only Humble Servants and Silent in our work as our fruits are visible and our actions transparent. |
As another example, our logo is simple, featuring a Lighthouse as we similarly guide and offer assistance; we do not force or frighten others.
And further to this, our logo is black in color to show our humility and insignificance compared to those that we are charged and dedicated with serving and helping while the usage of the color black also breaks the linkage of "black" as dark, sinister, and evil while "white" is seen as clean, and virtuous.
Lastly, we've crafted, and constructed this foundation to serve as a Faraday cage for Cancel Culture which we find to be distracting, disorienting, and often destructive.
We may disagree on who we help or in what order or form but we can all agree that helping others is a very worthy cause
